People from the meetup.com and yahoo group site have said they would like an additional monthly meeting. We will hold it on the 3rd Wed. of each month at Borders Brentwood at 7pm.

Come to Borders Books 1519 S Brentwood Blvd, on the 3rd Wed., starting at 7pm.
Ask at the information desk where we are holding the meeting and keep an eye out for
people with game programming/art books. (usually in the coffee shop or at desks in back on the 1st flr.)

We will start off with a meet n greet and then
talk about industry news and brief info about individual projects and/or interests.
Then more formal demos and presentations according to set Agenda.
Bring your laptops if you got'em - Borders has WiFi.

    What would people like to do at this meetup? We discussed possibly having me give a noob primer on XNA where we make Pong together. Would anyone be interested in learning this?

    • “ -Talked about local game companies - that there is really only Simutronics and some very small indie development teams. -Wes talked about and demoed some games from Toronto Game Jam. -Talked about St. Louis having it's own Game Jam, where people gather to create video games over a short period of time (weekend or weekends). In an effort to match programmer and artists, it makes sense to hold the "game developers" meeting at same place and time as the graphic designers meetup. So the June meetup will most likely take place on June 2nd, Tuesday at Starbuck's at 7pm at Westport Plaza, 111 Westport Plaza DR Suite 123, St. Louis, MO 63146. ”
