 ounce that the Independent Film Festival of Washington DC (www.dciff.org)  
 has invited us to join with them to organize a panel exploring interchange 
 and connection between films and video games.  I invite you to join Doug Wh
 atley\, Founder and CEO of Breakaway Games\, and myself for an exploration 
 of the games industry\, where it stands today\, its near future\, how film 
 and video games have crossed over in the past and what the future might bri
 ng.  \n\nBreakAway\, Ltd. is a leading developer of entertainment games and
  game-based technology products. It create entertainment experiences that e
 nable people to master skills and concepts in virtual worlds\, and transfer
  this expertise to develop tools that provide game-based solutions for real
  world problems. BreakAway is changing the way people explore ideas\, make 
 decisions\, teach and learn\, and live their lives.\n\nWe will also be join
 ed by Nina Walia\, Associate Director of PBSKIDS.org and Allie Alvarado\, A
 ssistant Director of Content for PBS KIDS GO! talking about their education

 action of content development. \n\n\nThe meeting is FREE for the first 10 m
