Hi All!

 

We are currently working with an award winning, 14 year old West Coast developer making original games for EA, Rockstar, Sony and others.  The company is a licensed PSP and DS developer, and is currently engaged in projects for several game publishers different markets including PC, Mass-Market Ultra-Casual, Massive Multiplayer Online, Console, Handheld, and Mobile platforms.

 

They were a core contributor to the Dark Star Project, Sun Micro’s massively scalable online games technology and they are working on their own original IP as well as original IP for major publishers.

They are obviously expanding and looking for senior and lead engineering talent to help them grow. 

 

In all cases, we look for passion:

  • People working on their own projects
  • Open Source projects
  • History of learning
  • Outside interests

  • Senior Game Engineers (Lead potential)
  • Senior Server Engineers (Lead potential)
  • Designers

General Comments

o    Must Haves

·         Creative problem solver

·         Excellent written/verbal communication skills (including ability to explain technical problems to non-technical people)

·         Demonstrated knowledge of software engineering practices

·         B.S. in Computer Science (or equivalent)

o    Nice to Haves

·         Experience with agile programming methodologies (XP, SCRUM, etc.)

·         Excellent debugging  skills

·         Excellent optimization skills
